My first finished quilt top! Some of the seams are a little off, but I’ve been told it is a respectable first effort.
I learned a few things doing this one, like not working with patterns of horizontal or vertical stripes, (Look close, you’ll see what I mean.) and don’t cut fabric while you are pissed off. (Correcting the resulting mistakes actually took about 1 inch off the quilt in each direction.)
Now I’ll need to attach the batting and the backing, and get it quilted. I’m going to try quilting it myself, but first I need to find the right foot for the sewing machine.
